Cuando yo estudiaba los cuatro  años de Secundaria y los tres del Preuniversitario, el Ministerio de Educación excluyó de la poesía  americana a tantos poetas y poetisas que jalonaron el sendero  de los modernos poetas actuales cubanos. Y mira que había tantas en el Universo de la poesía que nos expoliaron, por razones ideológicas, eróticas o lenguaje demasiado críptico para nuestra edad.
