Cuba.   Price to pay for making my satires and Cuban humor stories that hurt the regime, without being able to do anything to me. I live in a democratic country where you can speak badly or of the same president without anyone chasing you.    And nobody takes it from Cuba, it is rooted in our chest, like that of our José Martí, who fought until he died for a free pen and a country without tyranny.    Do not be afraid. A drop of sand fills the glass. Our zigzagging paths to freedom are terrible and exhausting. But our children and grandchildren will enjoy a free Cuba someday.

Mientras tanto, como no me dejan entrar a Cuba-otra forma de violar mis derechos humanos- le envío un par de chancletas a Mamá, o unas bermudas, dólares  a mi hijo con Juanita o Sultanita que, siempre calladas, sí las dejan entrar a Cuba.      

  Precio que pagar por hacer mis sátiras y cuentos de humor cubanos que lastiman al régimen, sin que me puedan hacer nada. Vivo en un país democrático  donde se puede hablar mal o bien del mismo presidente sin que nadie te persiga.

   Y la cubanía no nos la quita nadie, está arraigada en nuestro pecho, como la de nuestro José Martí, que luchó hasta morir por una pluma libre y un país sin tiranía.

   No tengáis miedo. Una gota de arena colma el vaso. Nuestros caminos zigzagueante hacia la libertad son terribles y agotadores. Pero nuestros hijos y nietos disfrutaran de una Cuba libre algún día.
