“El presidente y el gobierno nacional han manifestado en diferentes instancias la vocación aperturista de Uruguay y la necesidad de concretar acuerdos comerciales con el propósito de generar oportunidades de progreso para el país”, agrega el comunicado.

“Cabe recordar que el pasado 8 de julio, en ocasión de la última cumbre de Jefes de Estado del Mercosur, Lacalle Pou sostuvo que el mundo va muy rápido entrelazándose comercialmente y que, con el fin de la pandemia, las negociaciones se dispararán. ‘El mundo va hacia allá, Uruguay va hacia allá, ojalá vayamos todos juntos’”, concluyó.
