The `people, who apparently have no alternative but to swallow their tongues as if they constituted a mass of ignorant people - "Where are the intellectuals who think for themselves and who aren't fooled by populist speeches anymore?” ¿Are they affraid for a change?

 The idea of the rulers - especially the late Fidel - for the peole who are tired of hunger and deprivation even before the blockade worsened.

  In the face of other alternative information, the people have to take off the boring round tables where the same thing is repeated over and over again.

  As the newspaper Granma published an article there at the beginning of the 90s. "A true Communist does not make mistakes" that even raised some lukewarm criticism from some revolutionary journalists. An opportunistic outcast who wanted to be more communist than Marx himself. 

  And you, Mariela, deceiving us that the construction of socialism is nothing more than "simple experiments". But until when are they going to be deceiving a part of the people who have lived from the benefactor state in exchange for their freedom and who don't want a true liberation?

  Now it seems that you are silent or they sent you to moderate your statements. You shadowed President Diaz-Canel himself and took center stage before the people.   Al parecer a la Dra. Mariela Castro Espín la han silenciado últimamente. Ya no hace esas declaraciones delirantes sobre el SOCIALISMO  y las nuevas experiencias que este han  aportado. El `pueblo, que aparentemente no tiene otra alternativa que tragarse la lengua como si constituyeran una masa de ignorantes – ¿Dónde están los intelectuales “que piensan por sí mismos y que en el fondo no les engañan ya los discursos populistas?- que acata toda idea de los gobernantes- sobre todo del difunto Fidel- que  está cansada del hambre y de las privaciones aun antes de que el bloqueo arreciara.

  Ante otra información alternativa, el pueblo tiene que zamparse las aburridas mesas  redondas donde se repite lo mismo una y otra vez.

 Como el diario Granma publicó un artículo allá al principio de la década de los 90. “Un verdadero Comunista no comete errores” que hasta suscitó algunas críticas tibias de algunos periodistas revolucionarios. Un trasnochado oportunista que quería ser  más comunista que el propio Marx. Y tú Mariela engañándonos que la construcción del socialismo  son nada más que “simples experimentaciones” ¿Pero hasta cuándo van a estar engañando a una parte del pueblo que ha vivido del Estado benefactor a cambio de su libertad y que no ansia una verdadera liberación?

  Ahora parece que estás callada o te mandaron a moderar tus declaraciones. Le hacías sombra al mismísimo Presidente Diaz-Canel y le quitabas protagonismo ante el pueblo. Poco creativo el Jefe – puesto a dedo, no por elección popular- que solo repite frases del delirante comandante en jefe que ha sumido a la otrora isla próspera en un ensayo calamitoso del comunismo fracasado. ¿Hasta cuándo? Y la mala administración sigue haciendo estragos ente los dirigentes segundones y los administradores de la poca riqueza del pueblo.

  Ya el pueblo aparentemente en silencio alzará su voz alta en protesta contra el aniquilamiento  de una población que no tiene acceso al CUC  ni al dólar.

  Han secuestrado a José  Martí, al verdadero, en un Centro de Estudios martianos, mientras no presentan sus escritos sobre la verdadera libertad y la imagen que tenía contra los tiranos y su aprecio de la sociedad norteamericana con su dinámica capitalista.

  Martí es de todos  los cubanos, los de adentro y los de afuera. No lo monopolicen y lo hagan miembro póstumo del PCC. A Martí no le gustaría ese oprobio. Dejen que los estudiantes sepan toda la verdad no que recurran a Facebook para buscar información alternativa. No. El verdadero José Martí, nuestro gran patriota.

  Mariela, princesa heredera del castrismo y Diaz-Canel, midan bien sus declaraciones que ya el pueblo está cansado y los países libres también. Solo es cuestión de tiempo. La historia no los absolverá.

 When I studied medicine at the Faculty of Santiago de Cuba they imposed a new subject, which had nothing to do with the others: 
Marxist-Leninist Philosophy.

  One-hour classes were offered by a teacher-member of the Communist Youth Union. It was still a new subject for students and no specialized teachers had been trained in it.

  The teacher was very tall and thin and stuttered all the time stage fright. 

  He spoke first of Hegel with the corresponding criticism and then entered fully into the Dialectical Materialism. The concept of Matter repeated it to us again and again as if we were 3rd grade children. 

  We knew they would ask us that concept in the final exam.But he got stuck with the German Ludwing Feurback and his philosophical limitations. He repeated again and again, day after day, to this philosopher, to the point that it looked like a scratched disk.

  I believe that nobody noticed but I suspected that the Profe was no more than an extraterrestrial whose circuits had broken down in Cuba because of so many instructions he received from the Castro authorities.The name of Feuerbach repeated so much that the students said that "in the afternoon we would have classes with Feuerbach"

  And how we had predicted, he was soon removed from class. He will have returned to his MOTHERSHIP for a circuit repair.

  Cuando yo estudiaba Medicina en la Facultad de Santiago de Cuba nos impusieron una asignatura nueva, que nada tenía que ver con las otras: Filosofía Marxista-Leninista.

  Las clases de una hora las ofrecía un profesor- miembro de la Unión de Jóvenes Comunista pues todavía era una asignatura nueva para estudiantes y no se habían formado profesores especializados en esta.

  El profesor era muy alto y delgado y tartamudeaba todo el tiempo- miedo escénico. Nos habló primero de Hegel con la crítica correspondiente y después entró de lleno en el Materialismo Dialectico. El concepto de Materia  nos lo repetía una y otra vez como si nosotros fuéramos niños de 3er grado. Sabíamos que nos preguntarían ese concepto en el examen final.

  Pero se atascó con el alemán Ludwing Feurback y sus limitaciones filosóficas. Repetía una y otra vez, día tras día, a dicho filósofo, al punto que parecia un disco rayado.

  Yo creo que nadie se dio cuenta pero yo sospeché que  el Profe no era má que un aliens cuyos circuitos se habían averiado en Cuba por tantas instrucciones que recibía de las  autoridades castristas.

  Tanto repitió el nombre de Feuerbach que nosotros los alumnos decíamos que "por la tarde tendríamos clases con Feuerbach"

  Y cómo habíamos pronosticados, pronto lo retiraron de las clases. Habrá retornado a su nave espacial para una reparación de circuitos.

  Seguro. En el examen final nos preguntaron el concepto de  Materia y la filosofía del Alemán. Por eso no olvido al extraterrestre primero que conocí en mi larga carrera en Cuba y el nombre de Feuerbach nunca se me ha olvidado.

   Especies en extinción:

   Ya  recibido de Médico y trabajando en el Hospital Provincial había una morena radióloga miembro del PCC, madura y mandona, que se paseaba por los pasillos descubriendo a médicos con un botón de la bata o gabacha desabrochado y con voz imperiosa y sin decir “Por favor “gritaba”:

  -Médico. No puede estar con un botón desabrochado. Al menos lo hace en su casa pero no aquí en “MI” hospital.

   Yo ofendido en mi hombria pensaba en "enviarla a lavarse el bollo"- nombre obsceno para referirse a la vagina. Pero me contenía, no fuera a ser que me expulsaran del Hospital y no me dejaran más trabajar en Salud Pública.

  Además, cumplía su  orden no fuera a ser que necesitara de su diagnóstico radiológico para algún familiar en problemas.

    Otra especie:

  Una joven infectóloga que era jefa del Sindicato de trabajadores de la salud en mi hospital era un animal digno de estudio antes de que se extinguiera para la ciencia y la posterioridad.

  Era una mujer flaca, de ojos verdosos que encandilaban como una bruja del medioevo. Sus escándalos al personal subalterno eran proverbiales al punto que a un técnico católico que yo conocía le dio un Infarto del Miocardio en plena discusión con la doctora y fallecio.

 Ella ni una lagrima derramó que yo sepa. Continuó peleando y gritando hasta a los pacientes que acudían a verse. Después supe que estaba de licencia por trastornos mentales. No la vi nunca más. Se extinguió como los dinosaurios.

  Ahh. Se me olvidaba. También era miembro del Partido Comunista de Cuba.

  Pasaron décadas hasta que un revolucionario cubano de nombre Fidel Castro les pidió a los rusos ayuda, con bombas atómicas y todo. Entonces los soviéticos vieron la oportunidad y secretamente duplicaron a aquel rebelde que parecía no tener ningún miedo al enemigo del  norte.

  Fidel fue un Cyber desde entonces. Sus circuitos perfeccionados por  los soviéticos le hacían ser un perfecto orador e hipnotizar a las masas, que por sí, bastante pacificas eran.

  Era la oportunidad de los soviéticos de llevar a la práctica sus experimentos.

  Cuando Castro estaba moribundo -tenía que envejecer y morir como un hombre normal- los rusos copiaron su cerebro y toda la sabiduría que había acumulado como dictador y se llevaron el nuevo cerebro o circuitos neurales cibernéticos a Rusia.

  Por eso no se publicó nada en los medios de comunicación cubanos sobre sus últimas horas del jefe máximo ni sobre la autopsia.

  Solo su hermano Raúl, Ramiro Valdez y la Princesa Mariela Castro presenciaron la maniobra de los rusos y quedaron tan impresionados que juraron guardar silencio hasta la muerte- pero Raúl quedó traumatizado por lo que vio y desde entonces son pocas sus intervenciones ante el pueblo, preguntándose si él también era un Cyber Humano.

  En lugar del Cyber cadáver cremaron a un pequeño burro que ya tenía locos a los vecinos del zoo nacional por sus constantes rebuznos.

  Mariela Castro quedó trastornada por saber la verdad. Por eso tiene un humor tan cambiante, a veces da entrevistas muy risueña, come langostas con sus amigas o está de mal humor, culpando a todo el mundo a diestra y siniestra, hasta que hace silencio por un tiempo.

  Con el Parlamento cubano también Castro solicitó la ayuda rusa. Así crearon autómatas, en el más riguroso secreto, que solo tenían que levantar la mano afirmativamente en cada comparencia de Fidel o en cada propuesta de Nueva Constitución.

  Últimamente, sospecho del Presidente Diaz-Canel al verlo repetir constantemente frases del Cyber en Jefe-él no sabe la verdad- y manipular al pobre pueblo con viejas propuestas económicas que ya habían sido probadas en el pasado por Cyber mayor sin éxito.

  Así que sospecho que el nuevo Presidente también es un tipo de Alíen reciclado.

  I am not an economist but I live in a democratic country where the Minister of Economy discusses his future economic plans with a panel of professionals, journalists, etc. on TV constantly. Talk about the PDI, Financial Resources and Tne increase of salary.

  Nothing is improvised without first thinking it over. But in Cuba, after seeing the cries of a people for years about low wages and the uncontrollable rise of prices both official and in the Dark Market and that President Diaz-Canel visited all the production centers, industries-about all the failed sugar industry - and see that he had to increase wages, both for professionals and other state workers, discovered, as if by magic, that the economy would not grow unless a monetary incentive motivated to produce more.

   No soy economista pero vivo en un país democrático donde el Ministro de Economía debate sus planes económicos a futuro junto a un panel de Profesionales, periodistas, etc. en la TV frecuentemente.

  Nada se improvisa sin antes pensarlo bien. Pero en Cuba, después de ver los lamentos de un pueblo por años acerca de los bajos salarios y el alza incontrolable de los precios tanto oficiales como en el Mercado Oscuro y que el Presidente Diaz-Canel visitara todos los centros de producción, industrias-sobre todo  la fracasada industria azucarera- y ver que tenía que aumentar los salarios, tanto a los profesionales como a los demás trabajadores estatales, descubrió, como por arte de magia, de que la economía no crecería  a menos que un incentivo monetario motivara a producir más.

  Eso después de muchos análisis con economistas que no parecían saber nada de su especialidad en el país y en otras sociedades totalitarias. Nada se debatió en la TV que yo sepa. Fue una noticia, como muchas de los gobernantes cubanos, que se mantuvo oculta por mucho tiempo, aunque la realidad, la baja producción, el hambre y las protestas cada vez más atrevidas de las masas, les hizo tomar esa medida en el peor periodo económico de la isla.

  Ahora, por lo que he aprendido en Uruguay sobre estos temas, si no hay inversiones extranjeras o pocas cubanas por la escases de divisas, el alza de los salarios a la larga solo traerá un aumento de la inflación o de los precios de los productos, tanto estatales como cuentapropistas, ya que no se asocia con un alza de las exportaciones a otros mercados que no sea el de USA y así elevar el nivel de consumo del pueblo.

   En Uruguay el pasado domingo se efectuaron elecciones internas de los diferentes Partidos. Los dos aspirantes a la contienda electoral de Octubre de cada partido debatieron durante meses con el pueblo sus plataformas de gobiernos. Hasta el Partido Comunista que es aun legal en este país democrático, tuvo su derecho a la votación y a su propaganda- el aspirante decía que iba a restaurar  una verdadera democracia comunista en Uruguay-y tuvo derecho a salir en la TV y en la prensa. Ustedes dirían ¿Pero a estas altura todavía hay quienes quieren el Comunismo? Pues sí. Tienen derecho aunque históricamente y dialécticamente haya fracasado a costa de millones de muertos-Stalin- y de pobreza y miseria que todos conocemos.

  Recuerdo que en Cuba a las elecciones al Parlamento eran delegados adeptos al régimen, con una trayectoria incondicional al Socialismo, y puestos en las boletas electorales a dedo. Hasta utilizaban o utilizan a niños inocentes-pioneros uniformados que no saben nada de política -para que uno, aunque no estuviera de acuerdo, por respeto y miedo, votáramos, acudiendo a nuestras casas si a cierta hora de la tarde algún vecino no había ejercido el derecho al voto-digo más bien la compulsión de los dominados a obedecer al poder.

  Aquí en Uruguay el voto de las elecciones primarias fue voluntaria. Y yo, a una cuadra de la playa, donde estaba mi colegio electoral y con un frío que solo faltaba que nevera, acudí a ejercer mi deber cívico sin ninguna presión ni nada parecido. En Cuba no sorprenden las cifras de 90 y pico % de participación. ¿Y es democracia socialista?    

   Ya Cuba no es la garrapata que succionaba la sangre a la URRS  y vendía petróleo en aguas internacionales al mejor postor para financiar las guerrillas de Latinoamérica y las guerras de Angola. Se convirtió en mono productor de azúcar para los países del CAME, y no aprovechó la bonanza artificial para invertir en otros productos de mayor valor agregado para exportar, pensando que el Socialismo sería eterno como lo concebía el Comandante en Jefe.

   Ahora cabe esperar, si estas medidas que parecen improvisadas después de escuchar el lamento del pueblo que no aguanta más, surten algún efecto. Pero subrayo, si no abren la economía a los particulares, dejan de perseguir a los que han hecho mucho dinero-al PCC no le gusta que un privado tenga mejor nivel de vida que ellos,  todo seguirá igual.

  Será solo un respiro para los mayores dirigentes hasta que vuelvan con alguna nueva artimaña para que el pueblo siga aguantando y en silencio.
