ONH As Borges: "The rubbing of the years erodes the works of men, but paradoxically forgives some whose theme is dispersion and transience.
It was a noon in December. We had lunch in the hostels of the Medical School in STGO of Cuba. I went up to my bedroom and started reading the Granma newspaper, and there was the big news.
It was a small box on inside pages "Murdered the English musician John Lennon by a gunman. Again the blood runs in capitalism "
And that was all. Intermingled with news of the sugarcane harvest record in the quagmire of the zapata swamp, where the crocodiles were highly appreciated by the Central Committee for its sweet meat.
Not a photo of the murdered singer, composer and Protestant for the wars.
So it was that Fidel Castro paid tribute to the great figure of John Lennon. A speck in a newspaper of national circulation.
Celia Sánchez Manduley, who was not even known in the Isle of Pines, Castro's adulteresses erected a mausoleum in Manzanillo, not that she did not deserve it, since she was "good", they says.
My fellow student, Dr. E. B. de Guantánamo, where the radio and television broadcasts of the American Naval Base arrived, asked me:
_ What do you think about Lennon's death? -I answered with sadness.
_ It has been a shocking news. Now I'm going to lock myself inside my mosquito net to mourn his death silently.
In the 2000s, Fidel Castro decided to remember the past and ordered a statue of John Lennon sitting on a bench to be erected in Havana.
The first thing that the town did or a citizen fuck was stealing the famous glasses to the statue.

Yo subí a mi dormitorio y empecé a
me preguntó:
