JAPAN: TELEVISION SUPER HIGH VISION 8K AND THE FUTURIST PREDITIONS OF THE  WRITER RAY BRADBURY.

Today, I read in FB that Japan had already invented the Super 8K television. One TV projects on an entire screen the size of a wall.

We have the most advanced 52-inch HD screen and we still think a giant screen.

The problem is that there are not yet movies or series filmed for that kind of big screen, except the movie "2001: a space odyssey", filmed for wide screen. It is planned to officially premiere at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

This reminded me of a story by American science fiction writer Ray Bradbury. I do not remember if it was from the book Fahrenheit 451 or another from the prolific author.

I only remember that in that story two children, girl and boy, ask their parents for a special room. It had to have in the 6 walls projected in all its fullness movies of their pleasure.

Parents please them. One afternoon the boys rent "a video" from the   African  Savanna  and they lock themselves in the room for hours. Alarmed parents knock on the door, open it and see that their little ones have disappeared.

In the room, even with the walls, images of the savanna were projected for everywhere. Alarmed, they start looking for the children. They only heard the roar of a lion.

On the floor: the bloody shirt of one of the boys.

My favorite novel, even the memory of my youth, "Dandelion Wine", is a master piece of fantasy and realism of a boy and his brother. It is a world of pure poetry.

Thanks to Ray for making me dream in my adolescence but I never imagined that his mind, very imaginary and magical, would advance in the future time.
