NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, the agency's successor to the famous Hubble telescope, is scheduled to launch at 7:20 a.m. ET on December 25. The telescope, which was jointly developed by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency, will launch on an Ariane 5 rocket from the Guiana Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana.
