CANNOT BE ANCHORED TO THE PAST

  That's how I left my daughter. In his first letters he mentioned the song of Barbra Straisand and Nat King Cole, but he no longer told me about Selena. His talent for music partly forgot because of me, among other reasons that I don't want to mention here, when "staying" in Uruguay.
  Years later, being a beautiful lady came to Uruguay to accompany me and work.
  I just asked him if he remembered the afternoons when we sang American songs and he told me. -No Pa, that was in the past and out of my memories.-
  I was sad for a moment but life is like that. You cannot be anchored to the past, now look forward and remove all traces of Caribbean and North American culture, but I don't see any enthusiasm for the music of the Rio de la Plata.
